David John Hoyle, 59, of Wye View, Church Lane, Rowsley. Drink driving. Community order with 100 hours unpaid work to be carried out within the next 12 months.Must pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge, disqualified from driving for two years, licence endorsed.

Michael David Arthurs, 25, of Butler Way, Killamarsh. Failed to provide a specimen of breath. Fined £255, must pay £85 costs and £25 victim surcharge, disqualified from driving for 20 months. Licence endorsed.

Assault

Peter Allcock, 45, of Springfield Road, Barlow. Assault by beating. Community order requiring 40 hours unpaid work within the next 12 months and participation in a building better relationships programme, must pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

Philip Anthony Habershon, 43, of Burnbridge Road, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Assault by beating. Community order with 120 hours unpaid work, restraining order, must pay £200 compensation, £85 costs and £60 compensation.

James Russell White, 29, of Market Street, Clay Cross. Assault by beating. Committed to prison for 20 weeks, restraining order made.

Stephen John Ring, 37, of Ash Crescent, Eckington. Possession of amphetamine. Fined £75, must pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge. Drug to be destroyed.

Theft

Tracey Wendy Elizabeth jJacques, 48, of West Street, Doe Lea, Chesterfield. Stole food items to the value of £15, belonging to Poundland. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, must pay £35 costs and £15 victim surcharge. Stole air fresheners and energy drinks to the value of £6, belonging to Poundland. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Stole clothing to the value of £16, belonging to Primark. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Stole clothing to the vlaue of £27.50, belonging to Marks & Sepncers. Discharged conditionally for 12 months.

John Anthony Layton, 29, of Brockhill Court, Chesterfield. Stole meat to the value of £75, belonging to Co-op Hasland. Community order with defendant to comply with following requirements by 21 July, 2015: drug dependency for five months, live at an address in Thirlmere Road, Newbold, Chesterfield for five months and supervision, must pay £75 compensation.

Public Order

Dean Towndrow, 28, of Brassington Street, Clay Cross. Used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Community order with defendant to comply with the following requirements by May 19, 2015: four-week curfew to end on September 16, must remain indoors at home address from 8pm to 7am, drug rehabilitation requirement as well as paying £100 compensation, £60 victim surcharge, £40 costs. Stole can of drink to value of £1, belonging to Discount UK. Community order made.

Other

Marie Howitt, 44, of Deamon Street, Blackwell. Was owner of a dog which was dangerously out of control. Ordered to keep the dog muzzled and on a lead in a public place, fined £130, must pay compensation of £592.43, £50 and £50, costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £20.

simran singh, 18, of Lime Grove Walk, Matlock. Resisted a police officer in the execution of his duty. Discharged conditionally for nine months, must pay £50 compensation.

Daniel Nathan Mee, 22, of Baden Powell Road, Chesterfield. Breach of restraining order. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 18 months, must pay £35 costs and £80 victim surcharge.

Roseanne Baker, 22, of Tapton Terrace, Chesterfield. Entered train without valid ticket for purpose of travelling. Fined £225, must pay £11.10 compensation, £135 costs and £25 victim surcharge.

Prem Samantha Dhlagwagii, 20, of Foston Drive, Chesterfield. Failed to hand over train ticket for inspection and verification of validity when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fined £225, must pay £135 costs and £22 victim surcharge.

Gary Nicholson, 25, of Devonshire Avenue North, New Whittington. Travelled on railway without previously paying fare and with intent to avoid payment. Fined £450, must pay £5 compensation and £45 victim surcharge.

Andrew Charles Stevens, 20, of Hazlehurst Lane, Chesterfield. Travelled on railway without previously paying fare and with intent to avoid payment. Fined £450, must pay £11.10 compensation, £135 costs and £45 victim surcharge.
