The whole of Derbyshire became a stage to exhibit local artistic talent at the weekend.

Derbyshire Open Arts took place across numerous venues in the county, including The Grand Pavilion, in Matlock Bath.

Scores of artists and sculptures showed off their wares for those with an interest in art to muse over.

Creative people open up their own homes and studios to give demonstrations and workshops, while others choose to exhibit in groups at venues within their local community.

All venues were free to enter and visitors had the opportunity to buy work.
