The Met Office yellow weather warning is still in place as strong winds are set to continue across the East Midlands today.

Winds could reach up to between 50 and 60mph.

Overall it will feel very cold with a few sunny spells. Showers are also predicted, which are set to be wintry over the Derbyshire hills.

It is set to turn frosty overnight, so get the scrapers and De-Icer at the ready.
