The Matlock branch of the British Heart Foundation is selling a collection of Princess Diana souvenirs to raise vital funds.

And you can make a bid for the valuable collection by pledging money to the heart charity.

The collection of 26 magazines, entitled Diana – An Extraordinary Life, about the life of the late princess, has been carefully looked after by committee secretary Ann Ashworth for the last 14 years.

Mrs Ashworth, of Stanton-in-the-Peak, said: “The magazines are a lovely memento about Princess Diana and are in good condition as I have been careful with them.

“I am more than happy to donate the magazines and hopefully raise some money that can be used to help heart patients. We have been advised they are worth around £130 as a full collection but we are happy to take offers, and I hope someone reading this might be interested.”

Sophie Jardine, BHF Fundraising Volunteer Manager in Derbyshire, said: “It’s very kind of Ann to donate the magazines to help raise some money and we are always grateful to our supporters for thinking up new ways to generate funds. I very much hope someone is interested and is able to support the BHF during our milestone 50th anniversary year.”

To make a bid for the collection, simply enter the amount you would like to pledge to the British Heart Foundation in the comments section below.

Once you’ve made your pledge email news@matlockmercury.co.uk with your name, address and contact details and the amount you have pledged.
