Man arrested in connection with armed robbery at Matlock bank

A man has today been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Matlock bank.

The 33-year-old, who lives in Matlock, was arrested by officers in Ripley town centre shortly before midday on suspicion of armed robbery, and will be questioned this afternoon.

The robbery happened at 2.30pm on Wednesday February 18 at the Royal Bank of Scotland on Snitterton Road in Matlock.
