The Matlock Town Council results are now in and the Lib Dems have had a good poll. They have councillors elected to the Dimple Road East, Hurst Farm and Dimple Road West wards and they also have one of the two seats on Riber and Starkholmes, Chesterfield Road East and Matlock Green. Sue Burfoot and Peter Wildgoose, Liberal Democrats, have been elected to the Dimple Road East ward.
Conservatives Ann Elliott and Geoff Stevens have been elected to the North of Jackson Road ward.
Scott Cowley Liberal Democrat and Richard Walsh Conservative have been elected to the Riber and Starkholmes ward.
Keith Michael Brown Liberal Democrat and Tory Barrie Tipping have been elected to the Chesterfield Road East ward.
Lib Dems David Barker and David Philip Jones have been elected to the Dimple Road West ward and Steve Flitter and Colin Woodward, have been elected to the Hurst Farm ward.
John Barry Hopkinson Liberal Democrat and Michael Walton Conservative have been elected to the Matlock Green ward.
