Prize-winners were invited to a local farm to find out more about where their meat comes from.
The four winner of the Mercury’s Food Glorious Food competition won a package of fresh, organic lamb from Garden Farm in High Leas.
Tim Sidaway, who runs the farm, presented Diana Bunting, James Griffiths, Lianne Burgoyne and Dawn Greatorex with their prizes, worth £35.
The Mercury has been running a seven month challenge to find out about local meat and follow a lamb through its life from farm to folk.
Winner Lianne said on the Mercury’s Facebook: “The lamb is lush! We have had a family Sunday dinner today.”
