A REAL treat awaits all the lucky people heading to this year’s Y-Not festival.
Some of the more notable bands due to perform are The Wombats, We Are Scientists, Scottish rockers The View, Ghostpoet, Sheffield’s finest Reverend and the Makers, street storytellers Roots Manuva, British Sea Power, Rolo Tomassi and Various Cruelties.
However, despite having a plentiful selection of famous bands in tow, Y-Not festival always sticks to the ethos of giving less established acts from Derbyshire and further afield the opportunity to strut their stuff too.
Some of the other fine acts on the bill include Sheffield five-piece Smiling Ivy, Thg Crookes, East Midlands indie-rockers Alright Captain, Trillionaires, The King Bains, Troops of Mafeking, Frankie Rudolf and Luke Brown.
At the time of writing, though, there are less than 200 tickets for all these fantastic acts and more.
