Among the attractions were signings by Brian Wheeler, of Star Wars and Harry Potter fame, James Mackenzie, who is best known for presenting the lead role in the children’s game show Raven, and Matthew Dale, who appeared in Dr Who.

There was also an impressive Battlestar Galatica display, various weird and wonderful characters, Fast and Furious cars and a photo booth as well as stalls and competitions at the fun-filled event, which was first held in the picturesque Peak District town last year.

WHY?CON organisers praised the event and thanked everyone who attended.

Commenting on WHY?CON’s Facebook page, visitors said it was a great event.
