Plenty to choose from in Hayfield

Locals and visitors in Hayfield will be spoilt for choice on Saturday as the village hosts three community events.

In the morning, Hayfield Primary School are holding a Chicken Run fell racing programme. There will be races for all ages and a 5k and 9.5k for adults. Registration opens at 9.30am with children’s races from 10am and adults at 11am.

There will also be prizes, cakes, Easter egg hunts and a clothing sale.

The Kinder Visitor Centre group is holding their first pop-up art sale and exhibition in the village hall from 10am to 4pm. There will be paintings of Kinder and the Hayfield landscape as well as a Kinder Trespass display area, and sales of cards, prints, posters and walk booklets. Admission is free.

Handmade Hayfield will be holding their monthly pop-up craft sale at St Matthew’s Hall from 10am to 3pm. There will also be optional workshops, demonstrations and refreshments.
