Police and council surgery set up in Dronfield

A monthly surgery has been set up in Dronfield to give residents a chance to drop in and meet local police, housing and council teams.

They will take place between 10am and 11am at the One Stop Shop, inside Dronfield Sports Centre, on the first Thursday in every month.

The first will take place this week on Thursday, June 5.

Officers from the Dronfield Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team and staff from Rykneld Homes and the Dronfield Multi-Agency Team (MAT) will be on hand at the surgeries.

PC Sally Horner of the Dronfield Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “These surgeries are an opportunity for residents to call in and speak to representatives from different agencies in one place on a regular basis.

“We hope people will come along to discuss any concerns or issues they may have in their area, to speak to us for advice on crime prevention, or even just to say hello.”
