Police name Sheffield motorcyclist who died in Peak District crash

Police have named a motorcyclist who died in a Peak District collision.

The crash, which involved a red Harley Davidson motorcycle and an orange Honda CBR Fireblade motorcycle, happened on the A6187 Hope Road in Bamford, outside the Rising Sun pub, at about 12.30pm on Sunday.

The rider of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. He has today been identified as Jonathan Marshall, 46, of Walkley Crescent Road, Sheffield.

The rider of the Harley, a 54-year-old man, who is also from Sheffield, was treated for his injuries at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield.
