The Wirksworth and Middleton Safer Neighbourhood Team are teaming up with council and Neighbourhood Watch representatives to host a surgery.
Residents are invited to head along to the event at Wirksworth Town Hall to pick up advice or to discuss any neighbourhood concerns with police or council representatives.
PC Sue Lester from the Wirksworth and Middleton Safer Neighbourhood will be on hand during the evening to offer advice on how to boost home and personal security, along with discussing any issues that may be affecting the community.
Neighbourhood Watch representatives will also be present to chat to people about the scheme and how they can get involved.
The surgery will take place from 6pm on Thursday, February 11 at Wirksworth Town Hall on Coldwell Street.
