In honour of the event’s return to the village, the youngsters were invited to put their design skills to the test, with local artist Lucy Annat judging the entries.

Six winners received a stationery set and a free family pass to the show, with overall winner James Galloway-Booth also collecting a £10 ‘One for All’ gift voucher.

Lucy said: “It was such a difficult decision as the drawings were all great. Each one had relevance to the show’s activities and they all have such talent and imagination.”

All the drawings will go on display at the agricultural show on Sunday September 14, which returns to Hartington after previously being held at Pikehall Racetrack.
