Peak Rail's 1940s themed weekend was the most successful they've ever staged according to organisers.
Visitors were treated to re-enactments of 1940s scenes including the entrenched Second Battle Group German Infantry, encamped Russian Second Guards and various British regiment portrayals.
Peak Rail's Jackie Statham said: "It was a tremendous success. It's an annual event that's been going for seven years now and it just seems to get better every year.
"It was well attended and a lot of people came in period dress. The weather was kind to us so we had a great event all in all."
Most of the German re-enactors who took part appeared in the Hollywood blockbuster Saving Private Ryan.
