Going Roman: Darley Churchtown Primary School pupils Jordane Cooper, eight, Charley Marsden, eight, and Alysha Smith, eight had fun learning about the life of Roman soldiers with Titus, aka Murray Edwards of the Roman Military Research Society.

Darley Churchtown Primary School pupils Jordane Cooper, eight, Charley Marsden, eight, and Alysha Smith, eight had fun learning about the life of Roman soldiers with Titus, aka Murray Edwards of the Roman Military Research Society.

The pupils were taught both attacking and defensive principles, the correct way to march and charge, and even got to wear some traditional Roman armour.
