Rooting for a greener future

As part of the Million Trees for Derbyshire Scheme, Bolsover Civic Society has planted twenty rowan trees on land at New Station Road, Bolsover.

This complements a similar planting by the Society twenty years ago on adjacent land and which is now nearing maturity.

Land owners Derbyshire County Council and residents supported the scheme which was sponsored by the Million Trees scheme and Limestone Journeys, based at Creswell Crags.
