Six points for no insurance offence

A motorist caught driving without insurance in Glossop has been given six penalty points.

Police stopped a Ford Fiesta being driven by Mark Gough on Wrens Nest Road on January 21, High Peak Magistrates’ Court heard. Gough, 54, of Highfield Road, Glossop, pleaded guilty by letter. He was fined £110 and ordered to pay £35 costs and a £20 surcharge.
