A PAIR of Matlock teens were among of group of young people who took the plunge in order to raise cash for charity.
Edward Apperley and Roisin Reuss, both of whom are 17-years-old and live in Cavendish, took part in a sponsored bungee jump challenge to raise money for Weston Park Cancer.
The pair are both in the fund-raising group at St Mary’s High School, in Chesterfield, where they both attend sixth form.
Edward managed to raise £175 and Roisin raised £130.
Edward, who hopes to go into football coaching when he leaves education, said: “A boy at our school had cancer last year so that is why we chose to raise money for that charity, but also my grandad passed away from cancer last year and he was helped a lot by Weston Park Cancer.”
He said he had been nervous about doing the bungee jump, however now that it is all over he would consider doing it again.
