Revised plans for eight new homes in Youlgrave have got the thumbs up from countryside campaigners.
Proposals for six houses and two bungalows on Conksbury Lane have been modified to increase the size of the gardens, improve road access and move the new buildings further away from neighbouring homes.
Friends of the Peak District planning officer John King said: “We supported this application before, and we still think it is a great little scheme. The houses have some brilliant green design features.
“There’s a need for nine new dwellings in the village, so they are crucially important for local people,”
The Peak District National Park Authority will make a decision on Friday, April 15.
