A Dales restaurant is feasting on the success of being awarded a triple rosette status by the AA.

East Lodge, the multi-award winning hotel and restaurant in Rowsley, is now firmly placed in the top ten per cent of restaurants in the UK following the prestigious award.

Iain Hardman, Deputy Managing Director at East Lodge, said: “We are delighted to have secured this important upgrade, which is yet another milestone in East Lodge’s quest for excellence.”

“It is a triumph for the hard work and dedication of all the staff and our head chef, Simon Bradley, who has gone the extra mile to see us reach these culinary heights.”

The upgrade to three AA Rosettes follows a £250,000 kitchen redevelopment and the launch of an Indigo Chef’s table.

This exclusive table puts diners at the heart of the kitchen action and enables them to witness the very best of Simon Bradley’s artistic flare first hand.

Head Chef Simon said: “Speaking on behalf of the kitchen brigade, we tend to focus on customers and food rather than awards, but it’s really nice when your efforts are appreciated and we are all very pleased the judges thought our offering merited three rosettes.”

This new status singles out East Lodge not only as one of the finest restaurants in the region, but one of the cream of select restaurants in the UK too.

Iain added: “For East Lodge to receive three rosettes is an amazing achievement and the news is still sinking in.”
