A BIG-hearted teenager is helping to raise money for underprivileged youngsters abroad.
Ally Le Carpentier, of Flagg, may be in the middle of studying for her exams, but she is not too busy to help raise money for children in need of help.
The 15-year-old will be hosting a three day Jubilee yard sale at Ivy House Farm, in Flagg on June 3, 4 and 5.
The event will be open from 10am to 3pm each day and there will be plenty of bargains to pick up, including antiques, homemade cakes and a tombola.
Ally took part in the Vietnam Youth Programme through the Global Volunteer Network last year, during which she helped children in Vietnam, and she can’t wait to return this summer.
She said: “I really miss the children and since leaving last year I have never lost focus on my goal of returning.
“I keep their photos on my wall with all my other memories.
“Every morning I wake up and their faces remind me how much I want to go back.”
She thanked her family and friends for the support they have shown her.
