Now that the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition at the Pavilion Matlock Bath has finished (it ended on September 2nd) we would like to thank the large number of local people who helped us to make it happen.
The Pavilion and the Peak Mining Museum volunteers made the exhibition rooms ready; others helped with artwork, built panels, made curtains, hoisted the huge monkey banner, hung prints.
Local organisations advertised the event in their newsletters, the Derwent Valley Community Rail Partnership put posters on every station, local traders told customers about it; the Fishpond Pub supported a special offer, Masson Mills donated a generous prize for the Children’s Quiz, Yeoman’s Platform Hire helped us put up the banner.
But most of all we would like to thanks the enthusiastic visitors have come, been amazed by the fabulous photos and recommended the exhibition to their friends.
Thank you for all for your help, enthusiasm and local support!
