It was a dazzling display of bright flowers and colours when Tansley Tuesday Club held an Easter bonnet competition.
Club members spent hours working on their decorative hats for the annual competition.
Flo Bradley was crowned the winner for her beautiful yellow headgear, with Jean Thornley in second place and Marjorie Ramwell in third.
They each won boxes of chocolates for their efforts.
The contest was held on Tuesday, April 19, in Tansley Village Hall.
Member Jean Smith said: “We had lots of entries, all the members entered and there were a lot of beautiful Easter bonnets.
“The standard was very high and everybody enjoyed taking part.
“It’s an annual event that we always look forward to. Everybody always takes a lot of time over their bonnets. One was made like a crown with pictures of Prince William and Kate Middleton on it.”
