Drivers stuck in heavy traffic on the M1 in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire this morning (December 8) are being told the congestion will soon ease.

This comes after a lorry jackknifed on the northbound carriageway between J29 for Chesterfield and J30 for Worksop, causing two lanes to be blocked.
