The A6 between Cromford and Whatstandwell now re-opened after an overturned digger was recovered.

The road was closed at lunchtime as crane access was needed to lift the digger from the road.

Diversions were in place but motorists were told to expect delays.

Derbyshire County Council has thanked drivers for their patience.
