A TRIALS bikers was treated for broken bones and a dislocated shoulder – after a fall in a Peak District village.
The biker fell after hitting a tree while riding down a track in Eyam on Friday, August 19 at 5.30pm
Members of Edale Mountain Rescue Team were called out to the village.
The man was treated by East Midlands Ambulance Service staff for a dislocated shoulder and fractured upper arm.
He was also treated for possible neck and back injuries.
After being placed in a vacuum mattress body splint and then on a stretcher he was carried down the track to the ambulance.
This was the ninth incident team members had attended in August and the 76th incident of the year to date.
