Two people flown to hospital after Rowsley crash

Two air ambulances were called after a collision between three cars shut a Dales road earlier today (Monday).

The A6 between Matlock and Bakewell was closed following the accident at Rowsley at 11pm.

The collision was between a Ford Fiesta, a Ford Transit and a Ford Focus near to Haddon Hall.

Paramedics treated people at the scene and the air ambulances conveyed two casualties, both from the Ford Fiesta, to hospital in Stoke–on–Trent.

The road reopened at 2.20pm.
