Matlock businesses worked together to hold a glitzy evening and raise cash for a local charity.
Clothing stores Geisha, in Firs Parade, Bella Figura, in Smedley Street, and Grace, in Crown Square, held a fashion show at Stancliffe Hall, in Darley Dale – raising £1,600 for Bakewell charity Helen’s Trust.
Pepper’s hairdressing, in Wilmot Street, styled the models and Tinkers, in Smedley Street, provided canapes on the evening.
Teresa Whittaker, of Bella Figura, commented: “Most businesses used their regular customers as models, which was really nice because there was a nice range of ages and personalities.”
