A show about growing old disgracefully promises to delight audiences when it comes to Ashover.
The High Tor Players will be performing Old Actors Never Die at Ashover Village Hall, in Milken Lane, on both Thursday and Saturday, November 15 and 17, at 7.30pm.
The play, by Lynn Brittany, is set in the Mount Home for Retired Theatricals which is more than a country house than a home.
The peace of the building is shattered when a serial womaniser husband of three of the residents goes missing – seemingly on the run from gangsters – and the ladies decide that he must be rescued.
The show is Bryce Glithero’s directing debut.
Tickets cost £7 and can be ordered from Susan Devaney by calling 01629 733407 or bought at Ashover Post Office, in Moor Road.
