A fashion show will take visitors to an historic site back in time.
Notty Hornblower will be ‘Putting on the Ritz’ at Cromford Mills this Friday between 7pm and 9pm.
The fashion show will feature a collection of beautiful gowns and vintage wedding dresses from the 1920s and 1930s.
Models will be wearing 1920s dresses embellished with bugle beads that have lavish art deco patterns, with accessories including ostrich boas in various lengths and colours.
The 1930s tea gowns consist of delicate chiffon and crepe gowns in floaty designs.
The finale of the show will feature a collection of vintage wedding dresses from the era.
Catherine Roth, events officer at Cromford Mills, said: “Putting on the Ritz will showcase some of Notty Hornblower’s many costumes and we are delighted to be staging her show here at Cromford Mills.”
The event will take place at the Gothic Warehouse and tickets cost £20, including canapés and Pimms.
