This week, we take a look at that most nostalgic of times - saying goodbye.
Whether it was yesterday, last week or last century, parting is always a sweet sorrow.
Saying farewell to much loved colleagues can be painful, but there’s always the leaving do and the memories you take with you.
When Ken Harris, of Cleve Avenue, Matlock, completed 25 years service with Patons and Daldwins on Smedley Street in 1986, he was rewarded with some great gifts.
These included included an eight-day chiming clock, a hammer drill and an electric strolling saw.
He and colleagues are pictured above as they bid him a final fond farewell.
