Joan Lye Green, 62, of Lumsdale Road, Upper Lumsdale, right, is pictured here other members of campaign group, Women Against State Pension Inequality.
She and her follow members were at Westminster demonstrating along with thousands of other women from across the country about Government changes to state pension age which leave many without an income.

In 1995 the retirement age for women was increased from 60-65, in-line with men’s, then this changed again in 2011 to 66 for both men and women. But many received no notification of the changes and so failed to make alternative arrangements for the later retirement date.
