KIND-HEARTED volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help improve a village facility.

Working under the Prince’s Trust charity, which helps give young people the skills and motivation to find employment, the team of young workers painted, varnished, tidied and decorated the Bonsall Camp in Bonsall.

The countryside property is used for group activities and the latest team of volunteers, who are all aged between 16 and 25, asked if they could help improve it as part of their community programme.

Daryl Godfrey, who runs adventure and development training company Acclimbatize and had been working with the group, said: “They have really freshened the place up, it was beginning to look quite tired with paint flaking off, but they have done a cracking job.”

They all received a certificate for their efforts.
