Pupils got ready for Christmas by making festive wreaths.

Cromford Primary hosted the workshop to get ready for the school’s annual Christmas fair.

Youngsters made over 30 wreaths using greenery, laurel and holly.

They were sold to parents to raise funds for the school.

Younger pupils also had a chance to make mince pies.

Julie Taylor, vice chair of Cromford School Association, said: “We were impressed and amazed by how many artistic children there are at the school.

“All of the wreaths turned out really well and they all enjoyed it.”

Cromford Primary School is hosting a carol concert on Tuesday, December 20 at 1.30pm at St Mary’s Church.

Refreshments will be served.
