We want to know about your memories of the playgrounds whether you played with a hoop and stick or were a member of the spacehopper generation.

This picture has been emailed to us by Gerry Inns. It is of Matlock Council School in 1931.

Mr Inns remembers a few names.

Front row: left to right No3 - Graham Saunders; No4 - Gerald Inns; No8 -Norman Ash, No9 Basil Hirst.

Row two: Margaret Wall, No7 - Edna ?, No8 - Barbara Adams.

Row three : No2 - Jacqueline Roberts.

Back Row: No3 - Geoffrey Cobb, No4 - Jack May, No7 - Geoffrey Rogers.

He said: "These were days before Bert and Ella Smith started Matlock Mercury and my father Frank Inns owned Roberts & Son printing works. "

The fmaily moved to Canberra in 1966

The teacher in the picture is Miss Ellison and the Headmaster is Mr. Mills.
