PUPILS learnt how to reduce their carbon footprint at a roadshow run by oil giant BP.
Anthony Gell students took part in a session looking into the environmental, social and economic impact of reducing carbon.

The roadshow included role-plays, calculating carbon footprints and making storyboards.

Pupils had to show what they learnt by using voting pads.

BP will now provide free training to a teacher at the school with tips on discussion work.

Science teacher Claire Waring , who organised the day said: “The students worked really hard and had lots of interesting ideas. We are grateful to BP for such a thought-provoking input.”
