MORE than 1,000 players, coaches and supporters flocked to Matlock's Cavendish Playing Fields on Saturday for the Rowsley and District League Mini Soccer tournament.
In total, the event brought together 42 teams from the league’s Chesterfield and Matlock U9 centres.

In the Duke of Devonshire U9 Trophy Chesterfield Blues A beat Buxton Sharks with a late goal in the final, while Blues’ U8 team defeated Matlock Juniors in the Kevin Baker Memorial Trophy U7/U8 competition.
