A MATLOCK School's table tennis revolution is in full swing after being donated a number of tables.
All Saints CE Junior School has committed itself to promoting the sport among its pupils, with the backing of the school’s governing body, and returned from its first major regional championships with an excellent result at the end of last year.

The tables were given to All Saints by Derby’s Arboretum School and Mansfield’s Brookfield Primary School, who found they had little use for them.

Their loss is All Saints’ gain, however, and pupils there are also benefitting from expert coaching from Matlock and District League player Gerald Finney.

However, with the nearest tournament in Dronfield the school is now keen to find other schools in the local area to play against on regular basis.
