Stableford stars cope with breeze

Despite the breezy conditions, scoring was extremely good in Matlock Golf Club's last Bank Holiday Stableford of the summer on Monday.
Phil Evans won Division One with an excellent 44 points from James Morrell and Derek Skelton.

Andrew Roome took Division Two with 43 points, one ahead of Craig Murphy with Barry Hazelwood in third, while Nicholas Grayson edged Division Three from Nicholas Lomas and Tom Hickmore.

It was also very close in Division Four, Roger Ashmore taking the spoils with 41 points, with Thomas Hill and Nigel Hughes both a point behind.
