Matlock came back from the dead thaks to a Jamie Jackson brace in the space of 60 seconds to earn a valuable point in the relegation six-pointer at Causeway Lane.
Worksop had gone in front on 43 minutes when Chris Adam waltzed past several challenges to fire past Andy Richmond.
Ben Tomlinson doubled the lead on 71 minutes but then Jackson sprinted through to hit two in a minute on 75 and 76 minutes to bring Matlock level.
The Tigers finished the game with nine men as Andy Boyce saw red on 53 and substitute Kevin Sanasay in stoppage time.

The Gladiators are scheduled to travel to Buxton on Tuesday night to contest a League Challenge Cup third round tie.
