DERWENT Bowmen’s Andrew Andrew came away with a third-place finish in the second leg of the National Series Archery Tournament in Penecuik near Edinburgh at the weekend.

It was a tough weekend shooting in fairly miserable wet weather but Randall managed to finish third out of a large field of archers, and was only beaten by two archers who previously competed at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, Simon Terry and Larry Godfrey.

It was Andrew’s second bronze position at the first two legs of the National Series.
