DERBYSHIRE CCC are currently involved in their sixth LV County Championship Division Two match of the season, at home to Glamorgan, and remain unbeaten so far, still sitting pretty in top spot.

Their last game saw them earn a draw at Hampshire in a match that was badly affected by the wet weather.

Batting first, Hampshire made 352-8 and Derbyshire replied with 403-9.

There were centuries for Wes Durston (124) and a career-best 133 from Dan Redfern as Derbyshire recovered from a rather perilous position of 37-3.

There were also useful contributions further down the card from Ross Whiteley, David Wainwright, Jon Clare and an unbeaten last-wicket stand of 44 between Tony Palladino (22 not out) and Tim Groenewald (20 not out).

Both sides took ten points from the game.
