Ambergate FC Reserves were pleased to come away with a point against Little Eaton Reserves as the aim for fourth in Division Two of the Midlands Regional Alliance, after playing almost for half an hour with ten men.
Little Eaton deservedly took the lead after six minutes but Ambergate responded well and Chris Dring volleyed a leveller.
Just after the half hour, Richard West crossed perfectly to Chris Dring to head Ambergate into the lead. This advantage was short lived though as Little Eaton hit back within a minute.
Ambergate were reduced to ten men when Darren Boot handled the ball on the line. The penalty was tucked away but Scott Whittingham soon scored an equaliser. They welcome Matlock Academy tonight (Wednesday) for their final game (6.30pm kick off).
