Double delight for Dinanga at Evo-Stik League awards

Matlock Town striker Marcus Dinanga bagged a brace at the 2017 Evo-Stik League Player of the Year Awards on Sunday night.

Hot shot Dinanga has been so used to scoring on the pitch for the Gladiators this season he has now received recognition off of it from the league.

He was named in the Premier Division Team of the Year and also collected the Premier Division Young Player of the Year Award.

Former Wales and Liverpool striker, Dean Saunders, who most recently had a spell in charge at Chesterfield FC, was guest of honour.

Two Matlock Town Academy players Jordan Lee and Jordan Pierrepont were also named in the NPL Football Academy Team of the Year.
