Wirksworth Ivanhoe picked up their first three points in the Midlands Regional Alliance Premier Division with a 3-1 victory over basement side Cromford.

Goals from Matthew Dranfield, Daniel Watson and Jack Hgiton secured the win for Ivanhoe while Scott Gascyone netted for Cromford.

Shirebrook Rangers are up to second after their 4-1 victory over Derby Singh Brothers thanks to Jordan Turek’s brace and singles from namesake Mark and Ashley Wheat.

Marc Atwal netted for DSB who were reduced to 10 men after Khaleeq Sahfique picked up two yellow cards.

Meanwhile, Newhall United enjoyed a 3-0 win at Allestree courtesy of strikes from Joseph Kilduff, Sam Taylor and James Ward.

In Division One, Castle Donington Cobras returned to winning ways in the league as they ran out 3-1 winners at Little Eaton.

Mitchell Wells (2) and Karl Munton netted for Cobras; Matthew Tyson for Eaton.

Matlock United secured a 4-2 victory over Wirksworth Town Reserves thanks to Graham Whysal’s hat-trick and effort from Jordan Evans. Rory Horton and Izaak Ward got on the scoresheet for Town.

Elsewhere, Sherwin Athletic and Moira United shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

Ruben Franceis netted both goals for Sherwin who played with 10 men after Yaya Cisse was shown his marching orders while Rikki Birch and William Price scored for United.

Division Two leaders Burton Town tasted defeat for the second time this season as they slumped to a 5-2 defeat at unbeaten Melbourne Dynamo Reserves.

Callum Horton (2), Jack Goodband, Toby McCabe and substitute Alex Slater scored for Dynamo; Jordan Dent and Courtney Webster for Town.

Mayfield closed the gap on the league leaders to two points after their 3-1 win at Rolls-Royce Leisure thanks to goals from Kristian Brightmore, Ian Godfrey and Joe Redfern.

Elsewhere, Littleover Dazzlers were held to a 2-2 draw by Punjab United.

Wirksworth Town crashed out at the very first stage of the Derbyshire FA Divisional Cup North as they lost 4-2 at the hands of Central Midlands League outfit Matlock Town Reserves.

James Newton and Toby Howard got on the scoresheet for Wirksworth.

Division Two strugglers Dimple crashed out of the first round of the Junior Cup North as they were hammered 10-1 at Fairfield.

There was joy for Rowsley 86 Reserves as they booked their place in the next round with a 4-0 win at Hurst Farm United thanks to goals from Haydn Travis (3) and Jack Crossley.

Matlock Town ADS are also through as they edged past Railway Whaley 3-2.

Elsewhere, AFC Kilburn Reserves booked their place in the second round of the Junior Cup South with a 2-1 win over Little Eaton Reserves.
