Cromford Meadows 1sts slipped up at home to Nutbrook on Saturday in Division 6N of the Derbyshire County League.

Nutbrook batted first and made their way to 197-8 in their 46 overs. James Robinson enjoyed the most success for Cromford, taking 3-60.

In reply, Cromford were eventually dismissed for 155 with two overs remaining. Scott Cook was among the runs with a knock of 54.

Cromford took seven points from the game and are now third in the table, 23 points off second spot.

As for Cromford Meadows 2nds, they were bowled out for 102 in a Division 10N encounter at Selston Town. Simon Martin top scored with 46.

Vinnie McClean then took all three of the Selston wickets to fall as the home side reached their target in the 18th over to win by seven wickets.

Cromford take two points from the game and are eighth in the table.

This Saturday, the first team will travel to play at Staveley Welfare while the seconds entertain Brailsford.
