Honours were shared on Tuesday night’s five-mile Ashford time-trial as Matlock Cycling Club’s Richard Cordin and training partner Patrick Gould recorded identical times.
The pair finished on 10 minutes and 59 seconds to finish in equal first place, while Chris Green had to settle for third spot, recording a time of 11 minutes and 14 seconds.

Green recorded a time of 17 minutes and 35 seconds – more than two minutes faster than the next-placed rider Gareth Ferguson, who came home in fourth spot on 19:44.
