Matlock RFC’s under 14s team members are aiming to repeat the successful Muck Run of last year.
The team will be bagging and selling well-composted horse manure to keen gardeners and allotment holders in and around Matlock on Saturday, March 26.
This year, the lads are fundraising for their 2011 Tour to Scotland and Northern Ireland, which takes place during the Easter break. They also want to help local charities and again aim to support the Riding School for the Disabled with a donation.
One of the team’s coaches, Dave Pearson, is involved with the national charity SENSE, which supports children and adults that are deafblind, and the lads wish to help with his ongoing efforts with the charity.
Players, coaches, mums and dads will bag up the manure and will deliver to order.
The bags will cost £1.50 each with a minimum order of two bags.
To place your order for this top quality product, please ring Andrew Bridge on 07812 387643, or 01629 825159 before March 22.
