On 6th December the third race in the Booths Decorator’s League (BDL) took place at Bakewell Showground and was hosted by MAC.

Torrential rain for most of the week had left the area very boggy, which meant the water crossing was knee deep black, smelly mud.

There was the option to wade through or go round the side but this would mean at least five seconds per lap of 3 and many opted for the water.

The course included hills and many twists and turns making for a great course for the runners and spectators alike.

A win for Joe Rainsford of Heanor in 25.50.
